If it is true that the Tyrannical Ethiopian regime in concert with the Eritrean director are planning to invade Tigray again, I am sure that our able Generals can effectively repel it. That is a matter of military force on which I should not comment.

I can however advance the following propositions of reason.

  • The Tigrean government must be praised for giving peace and negotiations maximum respect and ample time to resolve the tense situation.  Should this be necessary, and only those on the ground could determine this, I humbly expect the Generals to know better.  We should continue to blend force, and softness. Our generals should be foxes and lions, and use both modalities of resistance, at the right time and in the right way. I am confident that they will do so.
  •  Unlike the first round of war, this time the Tigrean government is ready to face  the impending  confrontation heroically and from a stronger position.
  •  If our enemies strike us from air, I am sure our Generals know what to do. This is not my place to speculate about.
  • Tigreans in the diaspora can help the work on the ground by maximizing our allies and friends, and separate the people and those who are leading them and deciding for them. We must continue to divide the artificial unity that Abiy and Esias are forging, by encouraging and cultivating opposition to the two incompetent tyrants by using their own people to stand against them both in Ethiopia and Tigray. This point is a strategic advise that can only support our case, if war breaks out. We must build friendship and alliance with the people on whom the tyrants are counting.  This requires patience, timing and political astuteness.

I trust that our leaders are determined to use reason and force to the right degree, at the right time, in the right way and for the right reason and with the right segment of the population.
