Where is the beef?

On November 2/ 2022, the Federal Government of Ethiopia, and Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) signed ceasefire agreement in Pretoria south Africa under the leadership of chief negotiators that appointed by African Union, former presidents Emmure Kenyatta of Kenya and Obasanjo of Nigeria with the observation and accommodation of the United States of America led by special representative for the Horn Africa Ambassador Mick Hummer again they met in Kenya twice now in Mekelle Tigray However, while TPLF is going extra miles for peace based of the agreement, the government of Ethiopia is not doing his share on the ground that the ceasefire agreement signature to become reality. In addition, accommodators who put their firsthand in the case did nothing to force Abiy Ahmed regime to do his share for peace. The African Union and the United States should have forced the Ethiopian government to obey the agreement it signed.  Ethiopian government should be honest at the ground as the agreement setup for peace instead of lying and misleading the world to get fanatical support from the west.

       Since the agreement signed, invaders are killing civilians in Tigray and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed still giving blind eyes and deaf ears for all atrocities in Tigray. And yet, the negotiation acters including the United States are doing nothing to Ethiopia for violating the peace agreement it signed. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is not complying his obligation as a leader of Ethiopia to make sure the agreement is working as agreed. The people of Tigray still under siege bank, telephone and transportation is not available till today; Humanitarian Aid is systematic slow interring Tigray and foreign invaders continue committing their extended genocidal act in the area they controlled. Eritrean and Amhara forces still controlled large area of Tigray and the federal government under the watch of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is doing nothing to stop them.

     If Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed cannot force Eritrean troops to leave Tigray, he has to say it publicly and the international community should take proper action to save lives in Tigray and in Ethiopia in general. But the west power has no interest to stand for justice instead, they are working in saving Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to stay in power regardless his crime against humanity in Tigray. Since Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is the leader of Ethiopia and Ethiopia singed the agreement, he has an obligation to announce publicly that the Eritrean army that invited by him two years ago to help him in the war against Tigray to leave Ethiopia immediately.

       The chief negotiators and the US, UN, AOU also should do their share working into the peace agreement implementation by giving pressure for the Government of Ethiopia to work for peace as its agreement. But they are not pushing Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed enough to work for peace. so where is the peace agreement? Can we say the agreement is not valid any longer? if that is the case, what comes next? The people of Tigray still suffering today, what is the Government of Tigray waiting for? High percentage of Tigray land is under controlled of invaders and people have taken to Eritrea and Amhara. Tigran’s land and other belongs taken by invaders. And yet, no one is talking about them, In fact High officials from Addis Ababa and Mekelle hugging each other and drinking champagne as nothing bad happened in Tigray.  Where are the leaders of the negotiation; why not say something to Ethiopia’s government to obey the agreement, why the leaders of Tigray went to Kenya again? Is the agreement main purpose to disarm TDF because they could not succeed as they projected two years ago? Who gets benefit out of this shuffle. If TDF disarmed before the invaders leave Tigray and other trusted guard assigned on the boarder of Eritrea and Ethiopia, how the people of Tigray defense themselves. Without (TDF) Tigray Defense Force, civilians will be in jeopardy as we see in the area that TDF leave, and the invaders move in. Can the people of Tigray trust Ethiopian Army as their guard after committed genocide for two years?

       Let us say simple example from animal kingdom. If fox said,” I am no longer eat meat because I want make peace with other Animals. we all animals are related; let us make peace agreement with Sheep and Goats forget what happened before. We look forward living in harmony and enjoy life together” And send chief of negotiation who retired from high office in the hyaena community. The chief had committed genocide on his own country. At the same time, observer and accommodator was a lion who does not like goat and sheep to exist. Can do the Sheep and Goats believe the peace agreement announcement by foxes is real for peace, then waste their time while majority of their population is under enemy? If they do, they would be history as Dinosaurs. Knowing the fact of the fake negotiation, goats and sheep representatives must be aware that the fox’s demand making peace with them is another way to catch them easily and all actors in the fake negotiation including the lion could celebrate for mission accomplished.

        Therefore, sheep and goats should know the fox’s trick and  find other method to protect themselves and their population .

       The chief of negotiation’s background is troubling not peace making. Obasanjo committed genocide in his country Nigeria on one ethnic called Biafra and no one made him accountable for his crime. In fact, dictators see his action as success on controlling people by force and using him as special tools to control people their way in Africa. Keep in mind Tigray may heading to that direction so the people of Tigray must be aware some leaders could be forced to sign under duress.

       Sheep and goats should know his background even before he goes into leading the negotiation, but they allowed him going this far. Now it is time to get better way to save lives in their land. As a result, sheep and goats must understand the foxes’ intention is having new strategy through negotiation tools to catch them all at once.

     What we learn from the pass is good enough how Ethiopia treats Tigray and what Tigray did to Ethiopia in the history of the country. Since Ethiopia known as a nation, our ancestors defended Ethiopia from foreign invaders for long time that includes today’s Eritrea. But Tigray work more gets less in return. After we evaluate what Tigray did to Ethiopia and what Ethiopia gave in return is clear. Unfortunately, Ethiopia did not recognized how Tigray suffered for years defending Ethiopia.

       Now it is fair to choose what is better for the people of Tigray to exist in the god given land. After two years of war that the Prime minister Abiy Ahmed waged war against the people of Tigray, its unlikely to find anyone from Tigray with reasonable mind would like to live with Ethiopia any longer. Since the people of Tigray sacrificed for Ethiopia’s unity for centuries and Ethiopia opened genocide on Tigray, last solution should be divorce. During imminent divorce fierce debate may require who takes the name of Ethiopia. When Prime minister Abiy Ahmed invites foreign invaders to help him the war against the people of Tigray, the Ethiopians followed him without objections. As a result, the social fabric that we had built for centuries destroyed and no one can fix it. Therefore, alternative to live in peace in that volatile land of Horn Africa, we must solve our problems on the tables for mutual interest and we must make the divorce process smooth and safe for both Tigray and   Ethiopia. In principle and civilized way, solving conflict on the table is much better choice for all human being. However, the war designers on Tigray look like continuing their initial project by changing their strategy fake negotiation method and the people of Tigray are suffering each day. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed government and his colleagues are doing the same as they were doing before the agreement signed. Big lies to the World continuing. Humanitarian Aids systematically slow entering Tigray. Bank, Telephone, Internet, transportation still shut off, the Eritrean Army and Amhara Fano still committing extended genocide in Tigray. The people of Tigray still suffering every day and the peace actors are not doing deferent action than Abiy Ahmed’s permission.

     The people of Tigray still hopping peace will be achieve soon based of the negotiation agreement. But since they signed the ceasefire agreement, there is no change on the ground except inefficient Aid and phone partially started in the area controlled by enemies. The people of Tigray still dying because of hunger, lack of medicine, genocidal by invaders. There is no bank, telephone, internet, transportation. Tigray still in totally siege even after the ceasefire agreement signed between Ethiopian government and TPLF. Civilians in Tigray should live in their god given land, but the Eritrean army and Amhara militia are killing them in daily basis. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is watching TV in Washington with my President that I voted for his presidency. So sad to see US president sitting with someone who committed crime against humanity.
