“#No more movement” Vs Tigray ethnic cleansing and genocide

Since the planning and execution of the Tigray ethnic cleansing and genocide war by the Axis of evils and their domestic and foreign collaborators, various heinous crimes are committed in different parts of Ethiopia, in particular, Tigray and Oromia. As everybody is aware of, in Tigray all kind of crimes were committed, but not all were come to the surface, due to the all-out blockades of media-outlets implemented as a policy by Ali. Because the war is not come to an end as it was planned, the atrocities committed against the people of Tigray by the Axis of evils has spillover and starting to attract “limited” attentions from the world communities. To divert the attention of the international communities, and to get rid of accountabilities, the security apparatuses of Ali and Isayas has started to organize their “short memory” Diaspora supporters to disseminate false information through lies and deceptions as if nothing has happened in Tigray and the rest of Ethiopia. These Diaspora groups who directly took assignments from Addis Abeba and Asmara, they are not only immune to the suffering of others, but also eager to benefits from the suffering of others. They think that by shouting loud they could divert the attentions of the international communities’ opinions from the ongoing atrocities, ethnic cleansing and genocide which is still going on in Tigray and other parts of the country. They do not understand that committing crime against humanity is a crime that does not have statute of limitation or can be changed peoples mind through defamation, demonstration, lie and deception. Some of the “#No more” movement members are dependents of their host countries government assistance program, such as housing, financial and food. Besides, the majority of them are awarded land by Ali government for construction of residential house, condominium and allocated a running cost to cover their expenses, while they are lobbying western politician. What is strange is that, because they have “short memory” as Ali himself calling them, these group truly believe that they can change the opinions of western politicians in favor of the government of Ali and Isayas reckless political ambitious.     

I am not a person who undermine any types of work. However, when I see a taxi driver,7 eleven clerk, or traditional song dancer “iskista weraj” pretends as a political icon and mixed-up with politics with no knowledge, I do not have a patience to overlook it. The majority of the “#No more” movement members are layman’s and hard to believe that they could understand in solving the complex Ethiopian social, economic and politics, which is in dire situation. For these people insulting and humiliating those who have different political opinions with them is a modus operandi. They do not understand that involving in politics needs multifaceted knowledge, experiences in different disciplines, honesty, decency and willingness to serve the people and talk with those who have different political opinions. Because engaging in politics is to work for the betterment of the people, not stealing public money to enrich the few at the expense of many helpless poor people.  As I stated above, these people are serving Isayas and Ali security apparatuses as a vehicle to confuse, if possible, to convince the international communities not to take appropriate actions against these two evils, Ali and Isayas. Without the knowledge of their host countries security services, these people are financially funded by the two dictators, to deceive the democratic societies politicians. These people even don’t understand that promoting dictatorial regimes policy in particular related to human right, ethnic cleansing and genocide while living in the democratic societies is against the core principles of America and other western countries values. This attempt is a crime by itself! Their activities are not only illegal, but also not known by their host countries security apparatus and not registered by Foreign Agents Registration Acts (FARA) in particular in the United States of America, Justice Department. Their work assignments what to do and which foreign politicians they should targeted are directly channeled from Ethiopia and Eritrea securities apparatus. These people knew that in their country of origin their democratic right is restricted, and in some case a suicidal to oppose or question their government policy towards another country. For example, Ethiopians (for that matter, even the ministry of foreign affairs) do not have the right to question what relation did Ali have with the despotic regime of Eritrea, Isayas Afewerki.

Out of the many, the main work assignments of these groups are to make “a reconstructive surgery” to change the ugly images of Ali and Isayas politics in the region. To accomplish this, they followed the following tactics.

1. In the name of fake “Pan Africanism” to bring some dictatorial and corrupted African countries leaders on their side to continue the ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide against the people of Tigray and other parts of the country.
2. To oppose the passage of any kinds of Bill or legislation with regarding to Ethiopia by US and other European countries to stop the ongoing war crime in Ethiopia. Currently, the House of Representative approved HR6600 with the aim to promote democracy, rules of law and political stabilities in Ethiopia through all-inclusive political dialogue. To me, opposing this legislation is a madness and undemocratic in nature. This bill should be active no matter what action Ali took to stop the ongoing war throughout Ethiopia. Standing against HR6600 at this crucial time is giving Ali a free ticket to continue his ethnic cleansing and genocide war in Tigray and Oromia. I said this because, first Ali is not a reliable person to bring sustainable peace, and second this Bill is timely and more appropriate to bring political stability as well as constitutional order in Ethiopia. This Bill does not side with any Ethiopian political groups. It protects only the people of Ethiopia from dying by their own government hands, using arms, and starvation as a weapon of war.
3. To continue vigorously to disseminate false information, disparaging against those who advocates democracy and peace or those political opponents who oppose Ali’s war policy towards his own people.
4. Using different tactics, to damage the images of western countries by labeling them as interventionist in the internal affairs of Ethiopia. Using these groups, Ali and Isayas want to intimidate the western countries that if they continue pressing them to stop the ongoing genocidal war they will strengthen their relationship with Russia, China, Turki and other Gulf Arab states with the aim to change the Geo-political order of the Eastern Africa, which includes the Red Sea.  

These groups are working hard to deceive the world communities, that in Tigray sexual violence and rape are not used as a weapon of war; no ethnic cleansing or genocide has committed in Tigray and other parts of the country by the two dictators; no infrastructure, hospitals, manufacturing industries are deliberately destroyed etc. Ali has dominated 99% of the domestic media outlets and 50% of those media outlets residing abroad. Besides, he hired hundreds of Ethiopians “intellectuals “living abroad to work for his interest. These people are morally and intellectually corrupted and they don’t have a mindset or interest to think objectively the suffering of their people back home. One of the confirmations for this fact is how they judge the current conflicts between Russia and Ukraine. They supported the aggressor, Russia with no remorse to the people of Ukraine, who are suffering and died at the hands of Russia aggressors.

The no more movement groups are people who resides in foreign countries, enjoying peace, and the fruits of democracy prevailing in their host countries. The majority of them have changed their Ethiopian citizenship to their host countries nationality. This means, although they have Ethiopian origins, they do not have the legal right to participate in the internal affairs of Ethiopian politics, contrary to their host countries national interest. They themselves, and their families benefits from their host countries and gave them ample opportunities to understand the importance of respecting human right, peace, democracy.  However, although they live in the democratic societies, their mind set and consciousness did not grown-up to understand the importance of making peace in their country of origin. Instead, they become a problem for their country of origin, and a factor of destabilization! I personally know families who teach their kids how to hate kids of other Ethiopians from different ethnic groups. This is mental sickness and the so-called “#No more” groups are a collection of people who have this kind of mentality. As long as they got money and other advantages from Ali, and Isayas of Eritrea they will fulfill their assignments even beyond the expectation of their bosses back home!
