An Exit  Idea for Tigray and Tigreans from 1300 Years Endless Siege

Tigray has been under siege since the down fall of Axumite until this day.

Siege 1: Arab Siege of Tigray:

 The first Siege happened when Arabs blocked the red-sea which brought down Aksumite to its knees because  the blockage rendered Axumite out of business. As a result Axumite collapsed.  Axumite had the following economic sectors:

1. Metallurgy Industry
2. Monetary Economy
3. Military Economy
4. Maritime Economy
5. Mining Economy
6. Agricultural Economy

These powerful economy was crashed by red sea blocade. The red sea was never meant  for camel drinking according TPLF theory of  suicide of Tigray.

Siege 2:  Menelick and Italian Siege of Tigray

The red-sea was the main gate way of the aforementioned Axumite economic sectors..  When the security and economic way was blocked, Axumite kingdom fell down like Rome. But Rome did not fall by enemies like Axum. Rome collapsed by internal corruption alcoholism, indulgence.  Afterwards Axumites were battered by Italian and Menelickawian. Italy and Menelick divided Axumite into two: 

1. Half Tigray was sold to Italy by Menelick for 289 000 Armington guns and plus 1 million Italian Lira plus more promised guns and Lira.   That created today’s  Eritrea as we see today, a country founded based colonial legacy.
2. Half Tigray was taken by Menelik as colony.  That half Tigray was further divided further into four pieces:  one pieces put into Gonder then which was called Beja mdr,  another pieces was  put in Wollo, and another pieces was put in Gojam and finally Menelick carved out the present Menelick Tigray.  The current Tigray is not ancestral and historical Tigray.  Today’s Tigray was carved out  by Menelick which was designed to make Tegarus landless, sea less, economy less and preparing them for extermination. What we see today is a culmination of that old scheme.

Menelick siege of Tigray is still going on in an accelerated and dangerous way implemented by  American Government  due to the fact I believe Abiy, Issayas are just the messenger boys.

Siege 3:  TPLF Siege of Tigray:

Tigray was officially resieged in 1991, not by foreign enemies, but by  its owns sons and daughters.  Tigray  has been rendered under siege since 1991 and TPLF renewed and reinforced the Arab, Italian and Menelick siege. This put Tigray in  danger and what we see  today is an outcome of all

these successive sieges.

Siege 4:  Implemented by Saudi, UAE, American Government :

      This siege is the culmination of all the successive sieges and this siege is designed to eradicate Tegarus from the face of the earth. The foreign enemies are using local means to get rid of  Tigreans silently and systematically for their sick ideology of capitalism, communism and political Islam.

 Today Tigray’s  existence is under question mark . Reason, Tigray is languishing in silent and systematic siege. This siege Is not local only, it is an ideological siege.  It is an ideological siege and that is why Ukraine is better than Tigray.  Thus the Tigray genocide is an ideological genocide taking into account all the genocide stake holders involved.   This requires an ideological strategy.  What happened in Tigray is a global scope.  The citizens of  Tigray has to respond from a global perspective. That means Tigreans must think globally and ideologically.   This means Tigreans see the world through the eyes of Tigray.  The root cause of the problem must be known and solved  taking into accounts local, regional, continental and global perspective.  We cannot afford to keep on doing the same think over and over and expect different results.  This oblige us to find our roots and formulate a new and radical path that can restore our history, land, culture, language.  We need a new line of thought and a new line of  road map, charter of ultimate freedom.   We have to have a clear vision, purpose, objectives, goals and targets.  We must know where we are  going and what we wanted to achieve and this requires the kind of  Israeli’s Moto: “ one Israel is for all Israelis and  all Israelis are for every Israeli.” It is  based on this slogan that Israel is today where we see it.   We must stop  Hutuktuk work. We must not waste time talking about democracy, political parties etc. 

We do not need democracy or political parties.  What we need is Baito system which is Organic and our own system of administration. We can restore it and develop it further.  Democracy means different for different countries. Democracy in Europe is different from democracy in North America. Even among countries democracy is relative. There is no hard written law template of democracy anywhere. Only the name  is used for different purposes for both good and bad goals.

We must stop cutting, copying and pasting ideologies that do not serve us well.  We must have our own way  system  that  ensures justice in our society.  We have got that. Baito is perhaps much better than democracy. Baito involves the people directly.  In Baito there is no political parties, no scholars, no special groups, no elites.    We can add best practices from every country to modernize and to make our Baito system even better.   We must stop wasting generation after generation cutting, copying, pasting alien ideologies  that does not help us to live better. We wasted one generation during DERG after DERG imposed on us communism. TPLF wasted another one generation cutting, copying and pasting both democracy and communism.   The side of effect of these two ideologies is they are antagonistic. Democracy does not accommodate communism and visa vis.  Cutting, copying, and pasting any of them put us at loggerhead with one of them and this put the people of Tigray in danger.   Why do we need to cut, copy, and paste of any of these ideologies?

 There are three ideologies :

1. Democracy or Capitalism
2. Communism or Socialism
3. Political Islam

Three of them are based on human physical needs.  Human physical need is food, shelter, water, clothing, etc. to sustain the human body.  But human is not only body or flesh. Human has soul, spirit and body.  The above three ideologies see the world through the eyes of the body or flesh and their private desire. For these reason, all these three ideologies are mutually exclusive.    Each one of them wanted to make others like them.  This means we have to have our own ideology  that sees human in three eyes:

1. Through the eyes of  the human body
2. Through the eyes of the human soul
3. Through the eyes of  the human Spirit

 This means we can see the world a better way instead of seeing the world as monochrome.

 I suggest Tigreans must start thinking out of the box. Tigreans must see the world through their own eyes instead of seeing the world through the eyes of  other people’s  eyes.  This will save us from getting into trouble.  We leave  democracy to others to use it and they can do whatever they wanted with it.  We leave communism to Russians and  Chinese, Koreans to do whatever they wanted with it.   We have own land, culture, language, history, customs, even ideology of Baito.  We have a civilization that precedes the modern world civilization. 

Tigray have proved democracy is not what we were preached about. Democracy is partial, tolerant of genocide, rape, bombing, burning.  We see in our own eyes, for democracy Ukraine is better than Tigray? Right? Why do we need to hang to this idea called democracy? To get what after democracy watched  us  with folded hand being raped, genocided, burnt, bombed, starved , besieged for two years?  What are we trying to get from it now?

This is to say that Tigreans should form a new Government that is based on Baito system.  This means the people directly vote their leaders and their leaders serve per the people interest.  This will save us from dictators who wanted to live on the back of our people till they die. In Baito, every Tigraways is  a stake holder. The people directly participate with no if but.

  We must stop doing same thing over and over.  This is not a time to waste time squabbling in the name of  x,y, z parties.  Tigray and Tigreans need to be rehabilitated and they do not need more abuse in the name of  political parties.

Based on this argument, I suggest all the people of Tigray inside and outside together formulate a new system called Baito.  A new Baito covenant be established we can call it  covenant of  those who gave their lives for starting to do work. The people of fTigray needs rehabilitation and the world needs an ideological response. Tigray is not only attacked by local forces, but also by global forces. This requires global response. This global response must be ideological.  We have to avoid both democracy or Capitalism and Communism.  When Tigray was dying, both ideologies were using Tigray Genocide as a battle ground in the UN Security Council. Both ideologies did not lift their finger to save lives. After now we have to do business with them based on give and take basis. But the people of Tigray do not need both ideology including the third one. 

In conclusion,  Tigreans must think out of the box  and must think in a new way.  There is no time to waste.  The Tigray tragedy must be  changed to an opportunity. This requires day and night hard work.   All parties must obey the law of Baito after now.  Political parties, forgive us, give the people a chance.

Let us copy the Israli slogan: “  One Tigreway for all Tigreans and all Tigreans every Tigreway.” This requires sacrifice, selfness, commitment, zeal, faithfulness loyalty, honestly and  Determination.  Together we can move the mountains.  There is a verse in the Bible that says a kingdom that is divided against itself cannot stand.
