All theses centuries old human ideologies such as democracy, human right, communism, capitalism are now exposed by Tigray as Trash. No one will ever believe anyone after now the propaganda that was thrown on us for many decades. Democracy, Human right was used to demonize, to demoralize, to control and manipulate others. Tigray is shaping the future of humanity. There is a ripple effect of Tigray across the world. Even in the United State, a revolution starting to take shape. Tigray is now the light of the world even if it is dying, bleeding, starving to death. The light will defeat the dark at the end. Light is truth. No ideology can destroy truth.
There is a well-known Tigrignea song by the late beloved and respected artist Kiros Alemayehu that says, Meqnay Meqnay Kulu Nmiraaye, which means it is good to stay alive to see how everything turned out to be.
EU’s press release dated October 17th was a bombshell on the entire Tegaru population near and far. We are shocked by EU’s plain double standard. EU has breached its own long held values of democracy, equality, human right, and justice. Now I can see EU lacks integrity and it is unfaithful to justice and truth. I also see now how wrong I’ve been to hold EU to the highest standard it did not deserve. EU has crucified itself today by releasing a reckless and insensitive empty press release that insulted Tigreans. Thank you for showing us your true colors. We appreciate it. But it will not stop us from fighting, rather it had made us more determined to fight with all that we have got to win this war. To us, it is a matter of life or death, and we choose life, by our God given right, just like every human being on earth.
EU changed dramatically to stand against Tigray at a time when we expected you to do a miracle. You shocked us to our core by standing in the wrong side of humanity. It is amazing how fragile humanity can be. In the end, this showed us that every human is subject to fail.
EU’s inhumanity makes me to believe the Creator more. There is a verse in the Bible that says trust no man including oneself, because man is man or human is human, a failure. I will not be writing to any human anymore, because EU’s press release has shattered my heart. You proved me wrong to have faith in you, and in humanity.
When EU welcomed Abiy Ahmed Ali on a red carpet some months ago, I thought it was a simple human weakness, but it does not seem like that anymore. It seems like EU was superficially nice but not real one?
EU’s past press releases seemed fair and balanced. But yesterday’ press release was the worst ever you have given in the past two years. Today it is crystal clear that you have completely abandoned your sense of balance and fairness when you chose to stand with Isayas. I am shaken and heart broken by this press release.
EU does not even want to call Tigray by its name, but rather called “Tigray” north Ethiopia? Wow, amazing humanity! Tigray is Tigray, north Ethiopia will never stick, because such name has no basis for our culture, history, or identity. This is a mere bad mouthing. You cannot change the name of Tigray just because you decided to support the genocide, contradicting yourself with all the press releases you have given for the last two years. I have more respect for the countries and organizations that support Abiy openly than those who wobble in the middle not able to take a side.
But one thing must be clear, Tigray with or without the support of EU will prevail. Trust me, this is not a prophetic statement but based on historical facts including what TDF has already proved to be. Tigray will prevail and will become a strong nation on her own right. But you will be ashamed for supporting genociders and rapists which completely contradicts your own propaganda of democracy and human right.
The other twist of EU’s press release was you calling Tigray, TPLF? Where on the planet is a nation fighting for its existence called by it political party name? Is the American government or its military force called by a democratic party or republican party or the UK government or its military force called by UK labor party?
Deep in your heart, I am sure 100% you know that TDF is not the same as TPLF. Even if you call TDF as TPLF, the name will never stick because it is not true. It is deliberate perversion of truth and misrepresentation of Tigreans on purpose.
Another thing that stunned me on this press release was EU’s demand of Tigreans to stop fighting and accept death as a blessing. This is a callous, disgraceful, reckless, and irrational request of Tigreans. Tigreans are human beings with the same right to defend themselves anywhere in Ethiopia. EU has no legal or moral right to tell Tigreans to stop defending themselves. I felt like hanging myself hearing this kind injustice declared on my people.
EU, if you are not what you have been telling us all our lives, then please say nothing more and stay away. Tigreans will never back down from defending themselves until the end of time.
Tigreans have the right to fight their enemies anywhere and anytime like you and all other humans do. Your press release was unwarranted, unfair, and heartless.
After now, I do not expect any help coming from any human but God. At last, thank you EU for exposing your true color.
Every human under the sun must know Tigray has right to defend itself anywhere and anytime. No human under the sun can stop Tigray from defending itself. Human may create obstacles against Tigray, but Tigray will prevail. Not only in Ethiopia, but also across the world, Tigray will hunts criminals anywhere in the world when the time comes. Criminals will never hide anywhere in the world. No man under the sun has right to tell us we have to accept genocide, death, rape, siege, barbarism.
