It is an inalienable individual right to believe in any religious denomination or not to believe.
A belief is a belief. There is no such thing as one belief being superior to another belief, nor one is inferior to other beliefs. All beliefs have their basis in supranational deities and all could not be subjected to empirical analysis for proof.
Therefore this article is not a criticism of religion or specific religions.
That said though religious institutions now and in the past have been used and misused to achieve personal and regional gains.
At times when there were no patriarchs the Aksumites blamed the king for the curse of droughts that occurred due to not having a patriarch to communicate the will God.
In 1000 AD the king of Aksum Hatsie Degnajen requested a patriarch from Alexandria and begotten an imposter by the name of Qedros, a Muslim, but there were others Muslims appointed before him too numbering to five anointed – as Patriarchs, who were on a mission to undermine Aksum.
At the time of the arrival of Qedros, Gedeon the father of Aster -Esato/Yodit was a religious prisoner, committing heresy, in Aksum. Once power was transferred from Aksum to Amhara, the church was effectively exploited to advance the colonial expansionist Amhara grip over the rest of Ethiopia. Likewise the church preached not religious matter but politics. It told followers that the king was God-sent and must be revered and obeyed.

However, synod of EOTC violated the biblical teaching that encourage bishops to speak directly with these bishops before ecommunicating . On 325, our church fathers prayed for nearly 3 weeks and talked longer with Arius before excommunicating , and similarily the Synod of EOTC should have prayed for several days before its excommunication. Synod of EOTC members and the chairman are concerned only for one amhara led church and motivated by their monetary agenda with pretext of one religion and one church. ለቅድሥት ቤተክርስቲያን ምርኮን ማርከው የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን(ኢኦተቤ- EOTC) ምዕመናንን ለማብዛትእና ለማፅናት ስለ ተነሳሱ ማበረታታት ሲገባቹ ሃይማኖታቸውን እንደካዱ አስመሥላቹ መሳደብ ማውገዝ ለአመፅ ሕዝቡን ማነሳሳት ኢክርስቲያናዊ ብቻ ይሆን ፖለቲካዊ ና ጎሣዊ ኣላማ እንዳላቹ ያሳያል፤፤ሃይማኖት እናስፋፋ ስላሉ ኢትዮጵያን ሊያፈርሱ ው፥ፀረ ኦርቶዶክስ ናቸው፤ጦርነት: ግጭት በኦሮሞና በአማራ መካከል ሊቀሰቅሱ ነው ወዘተ በማለት ሽብር የሚያነሳሳው እነዚህ የኦሮሚያ አባቶች ሳይሆኑ ማህበረ ቅዱሳን ተብየው ና እኛ ብቻ እናዝዛቹ እኛ ብቻ ሃብቷን እንቆጣጠር የሚሉ በነፍጠኞች የሚመራው ሲኖዶስ(ጉባኤ ነፍጠኛ)ነው፥፥ No one will be suprised to see people like you crying and inciting violence since you are robbers within the church and are manipulating the laity with parables and verses that doesn’t fit the situation . You are inciting the laity to prepare itself for martyrdom only and only beacuse bishops of oromia exposed your corrupted act and demanded to serve their laity with their language. EOTC and mahibrekidiusan are notorious for robbery, sexual harassment and giving support for political groups. You(Kesis Asteraye posted this at the zehabesha.com) were insulting the patriatrch of EOTC in the following despicable manner ”:”ማሰሰቢያ፦ “ወለእመ ተራድአ በመኳንንተ ዝንቱ ዓለም፡ወተሠይመ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን እምሃቤሆሙ ይትመተር ወይሰደድ ውእቱኒ ወኩሎሙ እለ ተሳተፍዎ”(ፍ.ነ. ፻፸፭) ማለትም፦ “በመንግስት ድጋፍ የተሰየመ ግለ ሰብ ጭንጋፍ ነው”። በቦታው እንዲቀመጥ የተባበሩት ሰዎችም ህይወት የሌለውን ህይወት ያለው በማስመሰል የተባበሩ ናቸውና ጭንጋፎች (ምቱራን) ናቸው። “ይትመተር” ማለት፦ ይጨንገፍ ማለት ነው። “ይሰደድ” ማለት ደግሞ፤ ጭንጋፍ ሆኖ በተወለደ ህይወት አልባ ውራድ ላይ የሚፈጸመው ስርአት ይድረስበት ማለት ነው። ሊወለድ ነው እየተባለ የሚታወጅለት ይህን ግለ ሰብ፤ በመንበሩ ላይ አጽናው ብለን በቅዳሴያችን ልናወሳው ይቅርና፤ “አርህቅ እግዚኦ እምኔየ። ወእምነ ኩሉ ህዝብከ። ወእምዝንቱ መካን ቅዱስ ዘዚአከ”(ሥ.ቅ. ገጽ ፴ ቁ ፴፰) እያልን ከፍ ባለ ድምጻችን ከግላችን፤ ከማህበራችንና ከተቀደሰው መንበራችን እንዲርቅ የምናውጅበት ምቱር ፓትርያርክ ነው።” Kesis Astraye(መምሬ አስተርአየ) and Mahibrekidusan wonbedew zerafiwu were insulting and disparaging His Holiness Abune Mathias. Now they are supporting His Holiness for teh sake of their political agenda. The synod is working with political parties and ethiopian government(ወለእመ ተራድአ በመኳንንተ ዝንቱ ዓለም) and should be dismantled since it has no power and ecclesiastical authority at all(ምቱራን) ናቸው).And any bishop and synod supporting a genocide is not a bishop and synond and can’t excommunicate anyone . እናንተ ልሙጣን ሌቦች ነፍሰ ገዳዮች የማይሆን አሉባልታ እየነዛቹ ንፁሑን አማራ ና ኦሮሞን ለእልቂት አትጋብዙት፤፤ mahibrekiduisan is stealing riches of church , and should be dismantled from Oromia. And brought to justice. Stop your violence that you are inciting to bring the laity of EOTC into bloody conflict as if bishops of Oromia comitted crimes. Their graces are struggling like 12 Holy Apostles to spread the gospel. It is a shameful act and shameful history of EOTC !!You will regret it later stop it now before it is too late!!
